Highway 212 On-Ramp Lane Closure

The main lane of Highway 212 East on-ramp from Prairie Center Drive closed Monday, Feb. 3 and is anticipated to remain closed for three weeks while it's used for construction staging. The HOV carpool lane will remain open and provide motorists access to Highway 212. As a result, one of the two turn lanes from Prairie Center Drive heading north will be closed during this same time frame. Census Application Day

Learn about temporary census positions that offer the perfect opportunity to earn extra money while helping your community! Stop by between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12 at the Eden Prairie Housing and Community Services office, located in the basement of Eden Prairie Center.

PROP's Empty Bowls

Join PROP for its 8th annual Empty Bowls event Tuesday, Feb. 18 at St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Eden Prairie. The public is invited to enjoy a simple bowl of soup — from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or 4 to 7 p.m. — and select a handmade bowl to take home as a reminder of the many empty bowls we have in our community.

2019 Human Rights Award

The City is accepting nominations for the annual Human Rights Award, which recognizes inspiring efforts that work to promote human rights and diversity, and to create an inclusive community spirit. Individuals who know of a deserving person, youth, non-profit organization or business are encouraged to visit edenprairie.org/HumanRightsAward for more details about the program and a link to the online nomination form. Nominations are due Friday, Feb. 28.
