2023 City Budget Approved

At Tuesday night’s meeting, the City Council unanimously approved the 2023 budget, which will result in a tax levy increase of 4.5%. This translates into a 7% annual increase in the City property tax for a median single-family home valued at $513,200. Eden Prairie’s City tax rate remains among the lowest when compared to the 15 comparable metropolitan area suburbs of similar size. Its 2023 tax levy increase is also among the lowest in the metro area.

Final 2023 budget documents will be available online in January at edenprairie.org/Budget.
