Tobacco 21 Ordinance
On Dec. 4, 2018, the City Council voted to change the minimum age to purchase tobacco, including electronic cigarettes, in Eden Prairie to 21. This ordinance is effective today, Feb. 1, 2019. Learn more about this change in the Police Department blog

Water Conservation
Our community used less water in the months of December and January than we have since 1996. These numbers reflect our current population of over 63,000 compared to the 1996 population of only 45,262 residents. More people and less water used proves that conversation works.
