Role of the Senior Advisory Council

The Senior Center's Advisory Council serves as a valuable advisory body, providing guidance and recommendations on programs and services for adults and seniors to Senior Center staff, the Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources Commission and City Council.

This council plays a key role in supporting the planning, promotion and delivery of social and recreational programs.

Members:

• Advise, consult and make recommendations on adult and senior programs and services (to City staff, PRNR Commission and City Council)
• Assist with the development, promotion and implementation of adult and senior programs
• Volunteer for special events and programs
• Bring new ideas to the council

Membership Requirements

1. Must reside in Eden Prairie
2. Must attend 80% of scheduled monthly meetings
3. Must be a great advocate for the Senior Center

Meetings take place the third Wednesday of the month at 9 a.m.
