Today Chief Matt Sackett administered the oath of office to the department’s newest officer, Alli Biermaier.

Officer Biermaier grew up in Minneapolis and attended Normandale Community College where she earned an associate’s degree in law enforcement. She completed the police officer skills program through Hennepin Technical College. Officer Biermaier joined the Edina/Eden Prairie Explorer Post in 2019 and has been working as a community service officer for Eden Prairie since October 2021. 

Officer Biermaier will spend the next 3-4 months in the department’s field training program before patrolling by herself.
