Lost and Found Property

The Police Department manages property that has been lost or reported found within Eden Prairie.

If the owner is not found or is not legally able to collect the property within 90 days, the City officially declares the property “abandoned.” After 90 days, abandoned property is destroyed, converted for City use or auctioned.

A list of items found within the last 90 days is below. If you believe any of these items belong to you, contact Police Evidence Specialist Kyle Duchschere at 952-949-6241 with the corresponding property tag number and other identifying information. If the property is determined to be yours, you may retrieve the item.
