Citizens Academy is an opportunity for members of the Eden Prairie community to gain first-hand experience and behind-the-scenes knowledge about Police Department operations.

The six-week course typically runs every other fall with one evening meeting each week covering the following topics:

• Traffic Enforcement
• Use of Force
• DWI Enforcement
• Communications and 911
• SWAT Team Operations
• Investigation
