Late last week, School District officials notified the Police Department of two separate notes discovered at Eden Prairie High School, indicating the potential for violence on Friday, Sept. 21.

Eden Prairie Police have been working closely with school administration to determine the validity and source of the notes. At this time, Police have not determined the source of the notes and have found no additional evidence to indicate violence will occur.

The Police Department will continue to partner with school district officials to ensure the safety and security of students and faculty. This will include an increased presence of uniformed officers at the high school today.
