Congratulations Sergeants Naumann and Koras

Andrew Naumann The EPPD is proud to announce the promotions of two officers to the position of sergeant: Andrew Naumann and Jordan Koras.

Sgt. Naumann grew up in Brewster, MN and graduated from Round Lake Brewster High School. He earned a degree in law enforcement from Minnesota State University, Mankato and worked for four years as a police officer and crime scene investigator with the Waterloo, Iowa Police Department before coming to Eden Prairie in 2014.

While in Eden Prairie Sgt. Naumann has worked as a patrol officer, training instructor, SWAT team member, field training officer and investigator with the South West Hennepin Drug Task Force.  

Sgt. Koras grew up in Eden Prairie and graduated from Eden Prairie High School. After graduating from the University of North Dakota with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Studies, Officer Koras worked as a deputy for the Nelson County Sheriff’s Department in North Dakota for three years while also a volunteer member of the Northeast Regional Water Operations Team.

Jordan KorasFollowing that, Officer Koras served as an officer in the Hudson, Wisconsin Police Department for two years. In his time with Hudson, he continued as a member of the dive team and served as a field training officer before joining the EPPD in 2017. During his tenure at Eden Prairie Sgt. Koras has served as a patrol officer, member of the Retail Crime Unit, Unmanned Aerial System pilot and training instructor.
