City of Eden Prairie
Home MenuLake Management
Eden Prairie is home to 18 lakes which provide natural beauty, wildlife habitat and many recreational opportunities.
Round, Riley and Bryant Lakes have swimming beaches. Boat ramps are located at Mitchell, Riley, Round, Staring, Red Rock and Smetana Lakes.
The City works closely with the watershed districts within Eden Prairie's boundaries — Nine Mile Creek, Riley-Purgatory-Bluff Creek and Lower Minnesota River — to monitor and improve water quality. Staff also works with the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and Minnesota Pollution Control Agency to keep Eden Prairie's lakes clean and beautiful.
Contact the City's water resources coordinator with any questions related to the City's lake management efforts.
